Still just starting out - approval is a problem. How can I get my approval up, besides building entertainment centers, etc.? My largest planet is quicky becoming all farms and entertainment centers! (or whatever comes after that - multimedia center, I think)

I think your approval problem, by the looks of things, is coming from overcrowding. How high are you keeping your population? Your best planets should be anywhere between 16B and 20B people - the rest should only be from 12B to 16B. Your approval takes a gigantic penalty when there is overcrowding. Try destroying some of your farms. That will lower your population a little. If population isn't a problem, then I'm not sure what to tell you.

There is no real need to build more than 1 farm per planet. A 18/20B planet is a crowded one, more and you won't have e space to build enought moral improvements.
