Phase Stabilizers

Sometimes, not working

Hi all,

 

Sometimes I find that even if my ships are in a gravity well that has a Phase Stabilizer they want to jump to the next planet or the next again, before using the Phase Stabs. The Phase Stab is constructed, and it only seems to be temporary but varies between 2 minutes to 15 minutes, of it not working correctly. Is this a mechanic I've missed, or is it a bug?

I find this sometimes to also be the case with the Marauders Phase Stab ability as well. Sometimes it works right off the bat, other times it works just the last second, and sometimes it just doesn't.

The AI calculates it will be faster to go to another planet instead of going through the stabilizer. Try researching the speed upgrades, I've not had this problem and I bet its becasuse I always upgrade the phase jump speed thingey for them.

Could be that I had forgotten to research it, though I usually do, but will keep an eye on it.
