If you did, you can forget that release date and join the rest of us in wondering day by day if the beta will be out when we get up in the morning, only to find that it's not.
Very well said Annatar. But unfortunately some of us do have to get up and go to work every morning...and for those that do, it's a disapoointing day when we know that the beta is still not out there waiting for us when we get home. But we still keeps our hopes and dreams alive that maybe.....just maybe.......when we get home at the end of a long, hard days work grinding in front of the CPU and slamming out code like a code monkey does...maybe the Entrenchment Beta will be waiting for us to download and spend the entire night in an uncouth bliss, masterfully degenerating our eyesight as we continually stare at the most amazingly put together game that we have played in a very long time.
Okay, I'm now done with that small reverie and am now back in the real world and ready to start slamming that code. LOL 
There must have been/is a huge balance issue's for a game to miss it's release date and then the beta delayed further. I kind of hope they don't release further screenshots.
As a TEC player when I invade Advent/Vasri for the first time after Entrenchment I want to be in awe at the site of unseen starbases. But I'm a whore I'll look at any screenshots you throw at me, just keep SOME surprises.
We're all just whores when it comes down to brass tacks...this can all be solved by just giving us the darn beta already!!!

omg i think i'm obessed. not only do i look 2-3 times a day to check and see if the beta is out... i saw a thread where someone asked about a possible exploit in entrechment and i was like, WTF?! scoured the sins forum for 45 mins before concluding with known facts that the beta still isnt out.
sigh... got my hopes up for nothing. is there any update as to the beta???? i just finished dead week today. i have finals next week, then after that a solid month of gaming... i would like to dedicate it to the beta!!!!!!
The date refers to when the screenshots were taken, not when the game is coming out. 
Before we had January 2008, Beta 4, Beta 2, Beta 1, etc.
I was looking through the screen shots, and something stuck out at me. In one of the last 3 screen shots, there is a very high powered beam weapon, about twice the size of the other beams being put out by the starbase. A new ship class perhaps?
even so that still does not make them dec. 2009.
@ mja5000: do you mean that yellow stripe? that is just a fighter trail, but zoom in really close.
otherwise it may also be the advent battle capship's brilliance beam.
btw, god, I wish more advent ships had that kind of murder beam weapon. their standard beams look kinda cool, but not as destructive and menacing as those used in the hw series.
I hope it comes out earlyer then. Id love to play Enchanted Sins of a Solar Empire on vecation.
