Getting Galactic Civilizations in England

Hello, as you can guess, i'm English. I've wanted this game for a long time, however when i checked at a shop a month ago, they had nothing for it. Now, a month later, they still have nothing for it. I've tried at numerous shops and at the Game and PC World website aswell as amazon.co.uk but it just doesn't seem to exsist. So, when/is GalCiv coming out in this country? How else can i get it if it isn't for whatever reason come out in this country?

I'm in the UK as well. I got my copy from e-bay.COM. I searched for items advaible to the UK. You could also download it but that needs a credit card, they dont take debit cards ie switch that are very popular this side of the pond.

I asked them about how to get it without a credit and they were not very helpfull.

I went for the download option. On a 56k dialup that's not pretty. It was worth it though!

They've had problems getting it distributed here in the UK. There's no update as of yet when that will be.

Can't you order it abroad and get them to ship - Space empires IV came to me in West Midlands from US in about 3 working days.

PS I downloaded my galciv months ago - no problems and the CD arrived about three weeks after.

Apparently the European Union is limiting the number of copies of Galciv which can be sold in the UK. They are worried that too many Brits with the game might unbalance things.
