What's the highest class planet you've had?

I just finished a game where I owned a class 52 planet, it's a shame the game ended before I could max out it's pop.

Best I have had is a 35 precurser bonus that
ended up being a 52 like yours :)

Without the 35 precurser, I have had a
planet jump to 28 from a worm event(2 higher then the
26 that is the natural norm). It ended up being a
42

I have heard of some getting over 70 in earlier versions
but I dont know what the max is now.

During the beta test, I had a planet up to class 192. :D

Post-beta, the highest I've run into was in the mid 60s, although the limit without mods is around 85.

The highest I've ever had was 52 also...but that was with starting out with the PQ bonus (8%???).

I can't EVER seem to get it higher than that. My starting planets are at about 22PQ. Maybe that's the problem...I should restart to get a higher PQ...I hate doing that.

What else can improve PQ other than these things?
1. Starting bonus
2. Soil Treatment
3. Habitat Improvement
4. SPECIAL Events
5. Terraforming
6. The Terraformer

I now have a 49 PQ Planet ! Cool...
It was in the -former- Arcean Home system, a Precursor event put it to 35 and it was terraformed up to 49.
The Arcean Home was a cool PQ 25-some planet, now at 35.

What's funny is that in this game the Arceans were very weak, they were crushed by Torians, then surrendered their worlds to the Yor, who were feeble too, crushed by Torians but I stepped up from the other side of the galaxy (I had to put 2 intermediate SB just to reach the system..), and grabbed the systems just before the Torians transports arrived ! :)

You can always grab JesusofBorg's Terraforming Mod. Works great for planets that are low in class to make them liveable.

The Mod can be found here...

Problem with that mod though..... It's all late game stuff and hideously expensive to perform on your planets! I think that perhaps the two of them together are a little overpowering, but I think that there's room for one in the official tree, at that point of the game.
