It is my pleasure as a new senator of the MWC to congratulate all good peeople of fertile lands with incredible success that our empire achieved in the recent past.

We are not the fastest growing empire but the quickest to rise in ratings. Opportunities are excellent for new (and seasoned) players to make their mark on the face of Metaverse.

We are not asking anyone to defect from other respected empires. We are asking people of midlands (of North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, Japan, all islands) to join MWC. If desire to help a real and noble cause will regretfully make you leave existing empire so be it. Be strong in your true aligence.

We defeated G.R.O.S.S, others are shaking seeing MWC make it's way up.

Celebrate if you are an MWC member. Join us and we shall go together to the glorious future of the Mid Western Confederation.

Now lets be realistic Wombat. First of all there aren't any computers in Africa (ok maybe South Africa). South America may have computers but they are surplus computers from the U.S. that had become so antiquated that teachers were using them to prop doors open. So to say you are the dominant force in the Southern Hemisphere isn't saying much. But we love the competition so bring it on.

We are the #1.

It's a beatuful day in the land of MWC. We ascended from the bottom to the top. I am grateful to know all of you fellow Midwesterners.

We have been through rough times with you. We survived GROSS hostile takover proposition, we saw White Council to come from nowhere, rise on top and then furiously dissolve in shame. We believed in our destiny and kept fighting.

Perhaps we will not keep our current position for long. The job is done. I thank everyone involved and going back to the game. This time, I will play purely for fun with great feeling of accomplishment.

Recently a few good guys joined our ranks. Most notably Zoshran who is promising to be a star of Metaverse proportions of all times.

We are still looking for new blood, new generations. Whether you 100 or 100000 player, you are welcome to join us.

Congrats everyone :CONGRAT: Someone pop open the champagne cause the GROSSlings have been put in their place. Not only have we secured the number one position in the metaverse but we have 2 top 10 players and I'll tell you, I'm not lettiong up til I put idle in his place ;p

Oh and I'm sure those pesky GROSSlings have something slick up their sleeve in case of something like this...you knowa few saved games here and there that they haven't reported....soemthing underhanded like that. So don't let up fellow Midwesterners, the metaverse is still ours for the taking!

Judge Axels spoken like a Senator. Now why did you want to live the Senate again. You are without a doubt one of our best and brightest. Congratulations to all members of the MWC. In a matter of less than two weeks we went from 7th to 1st and our membership went from 20 to 31. Our small empire is a cross section of the good old USA and shows why we as a nation are so strong. We set our goals and we stick to it and the Midwest provides the grain and the muscle that makes us strong. Idle, Kryo,Plephart,Axels, Infodragon and our new recruit Zoshan as well as all MWC players have put on an incredible burst of good game play. I don't know how much longer you guys can keep it up, but Go Go as long as you can. Tonight I go to bed as part of the #1 Empire. Lets see what the dawn looks like on the MWC. :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:

The White Council has not dissolved in shame. We've merely had an awakening. We are now righted with a new cause and will be scaling back to the top.

no need to get angry. You are the leader of a greatly respected empire. You had your tough times, we had a share of ours. You cannot deny the fact that once on top your empire saw unexpected and unfortunate blow. I would rather see competing against you than against evil but strong G.R.O.S.S. I will see you and your gang on top, mighty warriors.

On a different topic: let me re-emphasize, MWC is achievment of Australia, Asia, South America, Northern America and Europe. Of all good people with the mindset of value-added workers/players. We do not segregate on territorial principles.

It's not too hard to see why my feathers were ruffled. After recommending Zoshan to the MWC which helped bring you to #1, I wasn't really expecting a word of thanks. But I certainly did not expect a kick in the butt while the MWC basks in the glory of its achievements.

Yeah, but it just a game, so no hard feelings. :)

surthur, plephart and idleprocess are sitting on the porch of their homestead, gazing out over the vast Ponderosa, when surthur spots a small echindna climbing up onto the porch.

S:"Well, will you look at that! Hey y'all, it looks like a teeny tiny hedgehog!"

P:" Hey, I saw that in National Geographic, next to them pictures of naked natives...it's called an 'echidna' - ain't it the cutest little thing...."

The echidna shuffles towards the three men, then curles itself into a tight ball, and tenses.....

I: "Well what's it doin' now, boys?"

Suddenly, the spines of the echidna spray out in all directions...the three men are taken out as a hail of sharp spines, tipped with a strange blue and white substance, rip through their clothing.

The three slowly recover, pulling the vicious barbs from their skin....

S: "Geez mate, I feel like another beer...."

P: "Yeah, stuff the bloody Metaverse mate...anyway, it time to light the barbie and get the snags on...."

I: "Good stuff...look, I've just gotta put some zinc cream on me nose and I'll be out with ya in a sec...."

Ahh yes.....we will assimilate the entire METAVERSE.....there will be NO ESCAPE...... :HOT:

This thread has been quiet for far too long! My brothers we have been overtaken by the likes of pirates and wizards and our proud hardworking image has been dragged through the mud for far too long. Despite the fact that we occupied the top spot in the metaverse we rarely are mentioned and have not garnered near enough of the respect we deserve. I'm afraid the blame for that falls squarely on us, as does our precipitous fall from glory.

But do not despair, for that is not the way of our proud Midwestern forefathers. We were born of blood, sweat and tears and we shall climb our way back to the top shedding that same blood, that same sweat and those same tears. So grab your plowshares my Midwestern brothers and forge them into swords for the time for battle is here. The pirates shall plunder our fields no more and the wizards spells will no longer hold any power over our hearts.

What's this? The Children of the Corny are back? Wasn't Blood Sweat and Tears a rock group? I can see we did not mix in enough emu oil with the assimilation nanovirus - the MWC again have delusions of grandeur. We shall have to muster our resources again - more work for the ANZAC fauna.....
