It is my pleasure as a new senator of the MWC to congratulate all good peeople of fertile lands with incredible success that our empire achieved in the recent past.

We are not the fastest growing empire but the quickest to rise in ratings. Opportunities are excellent for new (and seasoned) players to make their mark on the face of Metaverse.

We are not asking anyone to defect from other respected empires. We are asking people of midlands (of North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, Japan, all islands) to join MWC. If desire to help a real and noble cause will regretfully make you leave existing empire so be it. Be strong in your true aligence.

We defeated G.R.O.S.S, others are shaking seeing MWC make it's way up.

Celebrate if you are an MWC member. Join us and we shall go together to the glorious future of the Mid Western Confederation.

Score inflation is your friend. Heck, score inflation is also MY empire's friend. It's a brave new Metaverse and welcome to it. Be seeing you around, old time foes. Just keep one eye on the prize and the other on GROSS. Because us rebel pirates can be quite difficult to deal with at times...

Thanks, axels. But I still got my eye on you guys. Do you think I have not noticed that renewed drive? The rekindled passion to once again instinctively grab at your evil rival? I may not be able to see what goes on in that missile silo, but it has to be bad for GROSS! :) (Actually, I could see some of what goes on there, but I have this weird honor code about not looking at other empires' "secret bases" outside of this forum.)

And, worse yet, the boss left me in charge for a week. There will be no mercy! LOL

Hah I wish plephart... actually I've been getting lots of ctd's and I just haven't gotten the time to reinstall GC and go at it again since I've been busy recarpeting and repainting my livingroom yesterday, today and probably tomorrow (and reading the Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide when I'm not busy)... maybe by midweek though I'll be able to get back into things and when I do LOOK OUT! :P

Back in action over here... finished up my livingroom work earlier and churned out a 13k game to bring me back up to #3 in MWC and firmly cement us at #2 in the Empire listing...

Well, see, my wife decided we were going to have fathers day at our house. I was informed of this the day before :notsure: As I was also informed I was the cook for 20+ people. So... On fathers day I spent a good 4 hours BBQing. Which in itself isn't ALL bad. Nonetheless, a few sighs and some sad looks and I got some play time LOL

Why do I still love this game? Because it never ceases to surprise me....thought I had my last game all wrapped up and then the Altarians go and put the beat down on my buddies the Drengin and squash my trade routes with the Torians. In summary, I got run over....freakin goody two shoes Altarians. Gonna be a couple of days for me to get another game up to that point, doh!

Your fears have come true plephart... I just posted up a 9k game which bumped me up to 12th place, and once more #1 in MWC, just like I should be :P

those wiley wombats and kiwis...maybe they should spend more time playing galciv and climbing in the ratings than with their space sheep. Don't they know that us midwesterner's can tell a boobysheep from a real one. Besides you don't want to be messing with farm animals, cause I gots me a load of much bigger and messier boobycows ready in the back

Oh and kryofx, dont' worry I'm sure any cow you may have is ok, I wouldn't dare replace any of yours with my "special" breed...that is unless you get too high up in the rankings for me to catch :p

Just keep an eye on the ball, MWC folks. Don't let those wily ANZACs distract you. And don't let those sneaky Canadians (who are building a darn army real fast over there) take you from behind. Besides, we all know GROSS does its best work from behind! So, pass on by if that is how it is meant to be. We got some interesting things awaiting you. ;)

I had heard about these mid-westerners and their farm animals....but still....

The ANZACs are already the dominant southern hemisphere force (I mean, have you heard from Africa or South America lately?) and we will be on your doorstep before you know it...either that, or we'll send the sheep round.....
