It is my pleasure as a new senator of the MWC to congratulate all good peeople of fertile lands with incredible success that our empire achieved in the recent past.

We are not the fastest growing empire but the quickest to rise in ratings. Opportunities are excellent for new (and seasoned) players to make their mark on the face of Metaverse.

We are not asking anyone to defect from other respected empires. We are asking people of midlands (of North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, Japan, all islands) to join MWC. If desire to help a real and noble cause will regretfully make you leave existing empire so be it. Be strong in your true aligence.

We defeated G.R.O.S.S, others are shaking seeing MWC make it's way up.

Celebrate if you are an MWC member. Join us and we shall go together to the glorious future of the Mid Western Confederation.

Former Soviet Union is doing great, well Moscow at least. Friendly police, no paper checks as before, clean, majestic Kremlin cathedrals from XII century and younger all open.

Thank you. Run that Midwest Monster truck over what's left of the Euro's. I had actually wanted to pass them at their strongest rather than now that they seem to be imploding. It's time the Dread Pirate Pontius Retired and buried his booty.

If you haven't done so already, check out the individual top 25 boards by category. There's plenty of things to shoot for now for everyone. I've been noting that. It allows some of those who play less often to pick a board and strive to get on it. You But you better hurry. Staffa has plans to dominate them all. :)

They are also going to cast entire empires as evil, good or neutral as well and rank them. Lots of fun stuff.

Another fine cloudy wet day here in the glorius Midwest. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am ready for Summer to come. A new week has arrived and it is time to gear up and push to the top of the board. Our rivals have been busy this weekend. Let's all give a big collective push.

Well i finshed my game, but the score is really low only 500 something. On the end screen it said it was 29,000 point, i was expecting around 3000 to 4000. Also i had a 96% Cultural victory, i thouht once you reach 90% it starts a count down to win. Have they changed that?

The Canadians are trying the old Euro and Apolyton method of using sheer weight of numbers. In the past week or so, they have lept from like 30 members to 47. Sorry, worthy MWC foes, but you'll be eating Canadian bacon for a little bit it seems. Then it doesn't help that anyone who relied on those buggy 1.044 scores to puff up the old average got deflated. Old Spymaster Gerakken has been telling folks to keep an eye on those Canadians for a while now.

If you want a new strategy, your dear enemy can give you one: there is no scoring strategy that will work real well right now as long as the scoring rules are being re-written. Just play as you feel like playing and let score be darned. Score is not worth much right now, and it can all be changed overnight. That is my philosophy, at least.

I think the Canadian secret is that the all stand really close together and thus generate lots of little scores that add to their overall warmth er growth. Between Mad Cow and Sars they are probably to terrified to leave their homes so to alliviate the boardom they play GalCiv all day. We must declare Toronto safe it is the only way to stop the Canadian invasion ...leave your houses and return to your jobs. ;)

Axels you truely speak for the team and are a team player as such I can't think of a better person for the Senate. If we could appoint a high court you would be the top judge (hmm. maybe that is something I can implement on the home board) Yes Judge Axels you could help in deadlocks and be our negotiator. hmmm stay tuned for further changes.
That said we are proud of all of our Senators and Overlords. Soulwound it has been a long time coming, your participation has helped you to stand out for a while. Kyrofx you have just been a machine lately. Plephart if we had 30ish members there would be no discussion, you would already be a senator as well. I also don't want to leave out Feargus, Infodragon, Jon50 and others. We want you all to get involved and have fun. Long live the MWC and welcome to our new Senators be wise and fair.

I would like to say thank you to all overlords of the MWC for all nice things you have said. Inspired by your words I finally got away from other chores and finished my best game so far (11000 pts!) Strategy hints as provided by kryofx and plephrat at http://idle.thehueys.com/midwest were heavily used in my recent game. Thanks all. We are on the way to the top, have no doubt!
