I reckon a person doesn't have to see either of the films to get it, but one would have to have an idea of what I'm referring to, which is the double-post by Space Wombat and the placement of your post between said double-post, and yet the insignificance of this is recognizable to all, but I still acted on my impulse to point out this trivial occurrence in an attempt to be funny, or at least to carry "The Matrix" theme that had been following double and even triple-posts here in the forums, and it's understandable that not everyone would get these dry references whether they've seen the two flicks or not because the humor is either tapped out or was lame to begin with. OK then? :)

Gerakken slumps a bit in his chair, "Easy, Shadow. We all knew there would be some growing pains as the number of mutants increased in ANZAC. They were going to demand rights eventually, if not create a new social order entirely. It is just happening slower than I expected. It will have to be compensated for. Shadow, please fetch your companion unit, Fog.

Shadow tilts his metal head, "Master, Fog was returning from a mission against the Jedi Republic and took a detour when there were reports from passing freighters that the Canadian Ghost Ship has reappeared in a new sector of space. The European Colonial Armada is mobilizing to defend the colonies. His arrival time is unknown."

"Very well," Gerakken replied to his minion. I must continue to work on the scenario. The ANZACs will be accounted for, no matter which form they may eventually take."

If ya'all been following our discussion, you'll know the reasons why we have changed to the FF. It's not 'cause we don't like the ANZACs or because we don't like yous all. It's coz we want to rub shoulders with fun-loving people from all 'round the world. Check us out and then join up. Nothing is forever, and you aren't being disloyal, just clever!

Mrs. Pax stormed down to the dock where the Waltzing Matilda was docked. Her anger was such that she was aboard before she realized that while the systems were functional, the ship had been abandoned.

Mrs. Pax wondered if the members of ANZAC were out. Then she noticed the clutter, these boys were NOT neat. She decided to pick up after them to see if anyone would returned.

Hanging in a bunkroom, she noticed a Freedom Force recruitment poster, but did not recognize the significance. However, by the time she finished cleaning up she was much less angry.

She elected to leave a stern note for Drop Bear. She wondered what a drop bear was. She had been a middle school teacher before having a daughter and she was familiar with methods of quashing any manner of juvenile pranks. Being a middle school teacher she had developed almost super-natural powers of compulsion and the dreaded ‘teacher voice’ which now was reserved for her husband’s misdeeds.

She then remembered the Freedom Force poster. Perhaps, her powers of compulsion would qualify her. CypherPax would be so proud if she got a part-time job. She decided to take trip down to Freedom Force headquarters.

ECHO THAT - senators left - Slitherin, Cotal, Josh, Ralegh - if you're coming over to Freedom Force (and I sincerely hope you are) please go to the ANZAC empires page and change the status from OPEN to CLOSED.

If Evil Steve, ajm etc or anyone else has missed the debate - and you can read this thread to get the gist - COME ON OVER!

Click on this link to go to the ANZAC page http://www.galciv.com/metaverse/empires.asp?id=223

Click Edit Empire.
Go to the Empire Status dropdown list and choose Closed.
Click Save Empire or something.
Done.

Oh boy - thanks for that Slitherin, you're absolutely right. In my enthusiasm for FF, I definately went overboard about this. Sorry to anyone who wishes to remain an ANZAC and push on with a Southern Cross Empire; please continue to enjoy youselves. To those regulars to this thread, who've followed the dicsussion, we'd really like you to come over to FF with us and join our team of superheroes. At the very least, you should check both threads, speak up, and decide where you would find the most fun! Cheers!

In that case, make sure that ANZAC doesn't find themselves in a situation where there are no empire admins.

Someone should promote all the active remaining ANZACs to senators.
