ARG!!!

I have recently finished a major modding project.

 

An awsome pirate mod.

The Tri-Pirate mod!!

Tri, becouse it actully is three mods, my Pirate mod.

A music mod, with music taken from HW, HW2, and Star Trek Legacies.

and Gurkov's sound mod!

 

The pirate mod is based off of the the idea that pirates only do four things: Pillage, defend, build fleet, and reaserch to build fleet.

NO COLONIZING, REASOURCING, OR CIV/WARFARE REASERCHING!!!!

you get all your reasources from plundering dead ships!!

 

So, let my mod introduce you to pillaging, plundering, and the pirate side of life.

Disclamer: I take no responsibilty if you get arrested for piracy.

Kudos to Danman, and the seven sins modding team, for I had to use a few of thier meshes.

Myabe I am doing it wrong, but I put it in the mod folder and tried to run it, but i notice no difference...I am running 1.09.

mods don't work on 1.09 versions dude, u need 1.05

this is an awsome mod i've always wanted to play as the pirates and this is how i expected them to be. :D

and the pirate juggernaught is cool as well :grin:

I'm sad that you can't play it on 1.09, but I knew this would happen.

 

If enough ppl tell me it is good, I will convert it too 1.1 when it comes out. I may even add some extra stuff. (such as currently, defencse for pirates is extremly difficult)

Sorry for the major Necro here, yeah I know necroing is bad.  However, I want to download this mod so I can take the HW music and include it in Wraith's Homeworld mod.  He still hasn't added that stuff in *sigh*.  Anyways, when I went to download, I get a broken link.  Sorry for the Necro fellas, but IMO you can't call a Homeworld mod a Homeworld mod without Addagio for Strings, THE Homeworld song.  You know, the theme song basically.

 

I'm gonna have to yell at Wraith2209 about this too.

You can just get the songs from other places and then export them into .ogg format  through a program called "Audacity". No need to go defiling this old mod.

I need that for my mod too!

I'm creating the Nephil race...(broadcasters forced to war after one of their 'shows' turned on them)! And this race is based of ressources sucking from other planets (I.E. you send a satellite and it 'pumps' a percentage of the planets income..which represents the universes interest in the 'show that this race represents)! And in order to create these satellites, they need ressources...but since they cannot colonize! they must recycale everything that comes in their way).

 

So if you could please tell me what ability I must give my ships in order for them to salvage a percentage of ENEMY or ALLIED ships into ressources..that would be completely AWESOME!
