Belgian Retail?

Simple question really: Does anyone know if and where I can still buy gal civ 2 (if possible plus expansions) in Belgium? That is, any version will suffice (first version, gold, what have you...)

I'm aware of on-line services, but I'd prefer to leave that as a last resort...

(edit: to clarify, belgian internet is ... limited (ie a download limit of 12 gig, so steam-like online shops are out of the question). Also, I've already had several products (some books, some games) I bought over the internet (amazon and ebay, mostly) "disappear" somewhere along the line. So I'm getting a bit paranoid when it comes to such deliveries. Also, I just prefer having a disc case in my hands, rather than some electrons in my computer. PS.:

Layout looks ok this end.

Strongly suspect it will be download or nothing - certainly is for TA. I hear the concerns re download, but Stardock have it nailed, and the bottom line is as long as you have paid for the original licence, they will go through crazy hoops and loops to get you working. You will not be left in cyberspace with a poorer credit card and ziltch for a game.

For example, I had registered a Stardock product seven years ago under another email addy, life moves on, and three PCs later thinks "dang ..... I wonder". So I asked Sales, they tracked down my original registration under the old addy, transferred to my new addy .... name a company who will do that at the drop of a hat.

So I hear what you say re download restrictions/bandwidth, but have no other concerns at all re downloading the series - and they also do good bundle deals for all three.

There is also an option to Archive it at your end if you really are still worried about being left out there on your own - but dont be, they'll look after you once you've paid.

Paradox recently did bargain-shelf re-release of the base game which may still be available there. Better, Kalypso is currently working on a retail bundle of the two expansions for release in the near future.

These things always come together, don't they. The good news: I found a game. Bad news: I downloaded a patch (fileplanet's. I've been overdoing youtube and need to curb back my internet downloads for a few more days, so I can't dl huge files right now). Now it asks for a serial when trying to play. I copy the serial as found on the disc, a string of letters and numbers (D8059D9E...). I get an error, and the following log:

Submitting activation request...
Download: success
Activation result: 12
Error activating the product

Please check the serial number that you have entered and ensure that it is associated with the email you used. Try to activate the product again. If you are using Stardock Central you can right-click on the product and attempt to activate without reinstalling. Please include this log file when contacting support@stardock.com.


What does it mean?

Have you registered the game prior to attempting to activate it? If not, you should be able to do so via the Register link at the bottom of this page.
