Dusted off this old game again and have a question about creating a custom race.

Do the political party attributes stack with the ability bonus's you select on race creation?

For some reason I have it in my head that duplication of abilites/attributes did not so there was not much point in taking a bonus in creativity then take the political party that gives you the +20 and +1 sensors. You would only wind up with the higher of the 2 rather then having them stack.

I could be mistaken but if someone could clarify I would appreciate it.

Yes they do stack. At least, with the economic bonuses and the federalist party.

I am 99% sure that the

Diplomacy skills/Super Diplomat
socal bonus/superhive
Reproduction/Breeder
Trader/Super trader
etc.

do as well.

In my experience, the only one I bothered stacking were the Economy or the Breeding ones though. I just got the impression that other stacking were a bit unnecessary. But, that was me and your desires may be far different.

They do stack.

The only case where abilities don't stack is in the base game (the behavior is changed in DA and TA) is in native abilities versus picked ability bonuses.
