My opinions of the AI and culture

They seem too fixed overall and soo predictable.

They always build one ship assembly area max per planet.  It usually ends up being their demise by mid-end game.   I am looking at the game froma economics standpoint in game.  Usually the computer has a crap ton of resources saved by then and well...  cant do crap with it even over 2 hours of rebuilding due to having such low production depots.

I think a option should be put in the game to disable culture and its buildings etc(instead of slow, normal and fast add in NONE also...). Sadly this will hurt certain balances but maybe with it a disable super weapons can be picked.    I find it quite annoying to have to be fighting culture constantly on front line colonies instead of being able to produce ships or gather resources.  And having the need to keep my captial ships there.  If I dont usually the colony goes under if I decide to go attack anyone.

That's just part of the game, if you have that mindset never play an advent player. Just counter their culture with some of your own. The end game isn't all about massive fleets, sometimes the small things are the ones that spell either victory or defeat.

Culture is one of the few things that makes a defensive strategy at all viable. And even so it can be countered by either using your own culture, or else capitals. I don't see what you thinking is the problem...(as far as I can tell, I don't see how culture prevents you from gathering resources and making ships...).

It does inpact you creating extra extractors or a couple ship factories though if you have a few different cultures pounding on your planets. Ive countered it many times but the point is it really gets out of hand when you go attempt a attack. Personally in my experience I gotta rush back after beating down one planet to just to repair my culture instead of pressing forward in the attack.

Then honestly, you suck.

Simply pic one front-line planet (or asteroid, its better) and build media centers until logistik slots are full. Now watch how your culture creeps around the map devouring your ops stuff and giving you a neat bonus.
after that, to defeat his culture on your offensive all you need to do now is kill his media centers.
You can wage your offensive war without needing to stop or to repel his culture with your caps (Cap Culture Repell should be an emergency measure only, not your standard way of attacking, lol.)

try it, works wonders.

Remember: The best way to counter culture is to blow his culture buildings so go fckn do it and stop complaining about who "your" way of fighting nets you only more problems.

Try building multiple culture structures. The AI sometimes spams them at their later colonies.

Have you considered going and blowing up their culture structures??? No structure, no problem. You are complaining about a valid technique for blocking up an enemy and possibly taking over their empire. There is more to the game then just building ships - that is why it is 4X and not just a plain RTS...

This is like saying that illums need to be removed from the game - if you don't like something don't use it. Just don't complain if you loose. If you don't like it, kill the thing causing you can issue. Surely you can raid a planet and kill the media centre AND/OR build your own. It's not that hard really...

Im not saying I loose just pointing out that sometimes culture is a pain in rear. But besides culture... 1 Frigate factory is pretty slow for building up a fleet for a AI especially when they are on "unfair" it defeats the purpose of them having increased resources and the idea they would be pretty hard. With how its set up now , if you have full tactical use... plus about half the supplies research u can out wait the AI cause they won't attack due to the fact they cant overwhelm you mainly because they build too slow from one factory.
