NO 64 BIT!???

This game is not compatible with a 64bit OS? Am runing Xp 64bit and impulse says the game inst compatible!

Does the above requirments mention 32bit only...

Any one want to clarfiy this... most games now days work on 32bit as well as 64bit, and this is the first stardock game i bought in which i ran into this.

I just had the same thing happen. Every game I own can run on XP64. Now I find out this one wont. Even Galactic Civilizations II run great on XP64.

any one from stardock have an explanation/clarification om this? Heck i can still play pharaoh on my x64(without any modifications IE workaround) and it was made in 1999 by sierra.

OK, just found a workaround. Right click on the Impulse icon, select properties and change the compatibility to run as windows XP.

Did that and it let me download the game. installing it as we speak. Game runs fine, its just impulse that is the problem.

thanks augie, i was going to try that when i got home before u mentioned it. Glad you tested it. Guess they r stillg bugs in impulse. It says window blinds is not compatible to, but it installs fine and runs fine under stardock central.
