Questions about patching etc

I knew that this has been discussed a billion times but the forum search here is so crappy that I have to start a new thread.

First of all my PC at home isn´t connected to the inetrnet at the moment.
I recently bought GalCiv II Gold and I´m looking into to get TA.

If I buy TA is there any chance to download it and "take" it to my "offline" PC at home?
And if so, will I be able to get updates the same way?
Is it possible to get any Updates for my Gold Edition this way?

Yep, yep, and yep. SDC/Impulse will allow you to create an archive of the game(s), which you can take home along with the program and install, then unpack the archive. If you haven't already activated (it's not required unless you update or install via download), it'll take a return trip to email off and unlock the games, then you'll be all set.

Thanks kryo for the fast response!

But just for total clarification:

1. I buy TA on a PC with active internet connection
2. I activate and download TA as an archieve vie Stardoc Central/Impulse
3. I unpack that archive at my offline home pc and enjoy TA
4. If I want a patch for TA I just go to a online PC with my stardock/impulse account, download the patch as an archieve, take it to my offline pc at home and enjoy the patch?

Sorry for all the questioning but before I spend the money I must be 100% sure that everything works.
