Gold edition - original campaign?q

So - I recently installed the gold edition (I know twilight is out, but it was cheap. :P) - with the original and Dark Avatar bundled together - now, when you install these, you have to install both, you can't just choose to not install the dark avatar - the problem with this is, when I open the game, I can only play the expansion campaign, not the original campaign - is there a way to play the original campaign?

When you launch the game, a launcher screen should appear with a button labeled "Switch Chapters"

Use that button to switch to the Dread Lords chapter, and you should be good to go.

You should be able to launch the original galciv2 without Dark Avatar and play the campaign there. Maybe there is no shortcut on your desktop so look into the Start menue.
