taking screenshots without the hud.... is it possable?

just as the title says i would like to take screenshots with out the hud.... i know there is a cinamatic mode but it still takes the screenshot with the building options and such, is there anyway to just get the ships and space?

Click the cinematic button (looks like a camera in a group of buttons to the left of the Diplo/Research/Underground buttons). Make sure no ships are selected, because it will still show their empire ownership icons if they are (unless you have those turned off).

Use another program to take screenshots. I would suggest fraps or xfire...

Use cinematic mode and take the screenshots using these programs.

Here's your Answer... TO REMOVE THE UI, Press and Hold:

Ctrl+Shift+Z

There you go. :) That's how you capture full screenshots and videos. Enjoy.
