Obama-bots love to try and convince people that he is "different" and his message of "change" shows he's the right man for the job. BS.

Obama states: "Since the gas lines of the '70's, Democrats and Republicans have talked about energy independence, but nothing's changed except now Exxon's making $40 billion a year, and we're paying $3.50 for gas. ... I don't take money from oil companies or Washington lobbyists, and I won't let them block change anymore.
End of quote

But in reality....

Obama does not take money from oil companies. No candidate does. It is illegal for corporations to give money to politicians. But he does accept money from executives and other employees of oil companies and two of his fundraisers are oil company executives. As of Feb. 29, Obama's presidential campaign had received nearly $214,000 from oil and gas industry employees and their families, according to an analysis by the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics.

Yep, keep looking to Obama for your "change".

There is a hidden meaning in Obama's message. When he says "choose change", he is really saying that change will be the only thing left in your pocket. He will take all of the dollar bills! :SNIFF!:

Links please. Show us where your 401k was taken, where the government took your job, and what rights the government took from you.

And where they confiscated your house.

Please do not link to opinion pieces (assholes, remember?) or blog sites (which are worse than opinion pieces).

Really? I've lost none of these things. Please provide proof of your assertions because I know of not one person who has lost these things due to the government taking them under this or any other administration. An intelligent person should be able to provide facts to back their accusations and assertions.

He's playing the semantics game the same as the other candidates. What he said may be technically true but it was intentionally misleading. He's no different than any other politician out there today (which I know was the point of your article). I don't bother listening to their political stumping as it's all just churned BS intended to win votes. I look at their records and what they've actually demonstrated. Actions speak louder than words.

Where has Bush done any of that?  Please provide proof, or once again, you are a liar.

Repetition is not an answer. Answer the question. Or are you lying again?

I asked you for specific proof of your statements and you seem to ignore same. Is this because you have none?

The fact that you lack the courage to answer a simple question speaks volumes about your lack of character and even worse intellect.

He can't answer it because he knows he can't provide a shred of fact to back up his hyperbole. Childishly throwing around insults and outlandish statements are all he seems to be capable of doing.

I think the DU is missing one of their own.  This is typical liberal behavior:

  1. Make an accusation which is obviously a lie.
  2. When called on it, ignore it and don't answer.
  3. Start with insults and childish remarks.
