Which Should I buy and why? Lost Empire or SoaSE?

I love detailed strategy games. Don't mind&NBS;micromanagement as long as there is an efficient II.

What do you think of Lost Empire any better? Differences?

&NBS;

Thanks

I haven't actually played Lost Empires yet, but from what I gathered it is a classic turn based 4X game with some nice ideas and a "story".

Sins on the other hand is a RTS and has very little 4X elements and the ones it has are not THAT important.

If you want a MoO sequel with nice ideas go for lost empires (but wait for the iron legion or something version).
If you want a slow Dawn of War in Space go for Sins.

I'd also suggest that if you want singleplayer mostly/exclusively, you shouldnt buy Sins (Although it seems the overwhelming majority only play vs Ai... judging by the empty game lobby).

You might want to wait for Lost Empires Immortals if you choose to get LE.

Anyway, I have LE (and testing Immortals - but am under an NDA for it's info), and honestly I love both LE:I and Sins equally. LE (LE1, not immortals, though Immortals is the sequel AFAIK) has good performance and a great deal of combat, large empires and it's all turn based, though you cannot control the battles like SEIV or Sins. LE does also feel lik a turn-based Sins free roam movement to me at times.

Sins is...... well... theres a lot of posts about it already :)

Both are a good buy, but it really comes down to rather or not you want a TBS or an RTS with a bit of 4X.

Yay!! A question about a game that isn't even out yet! How nice.....

Sometimes I wish the administrators were more strict in locking topics.

Sins is not a detailed strategy game, it's an RTS with some very light 4X flourishes thrown in. Based on what you say you want, you'd be better off with Lost Empires. Are you aware of Gal Civ 2, by the way? It's a fantastic 4x turn based strategy game with plenty of detail.
