Stardock Central and Seti@Home

I was just wondering if someone can explain why I have to exit Seti@Home in order to run Stardock Central program. This is a real bind and somewhat infuriating.

What ever you do, don't choose not to close Seti when you start SDC. I did that once and it really borked SDC. I could not start the thing, it just crashed a few seconds after startup. Re-installing did not work. I eventually rolled back to an earlier system restore point.

I've been able to run SDC and SETI@Home simultaneously, so I don't know what the deal is.

I think it only really matters if you're running Seti in the background. I've got it set to screensaver and haven't had any problems with Stardock.
