<sniff sniff> What did I do wrong?

HEHE NM found out the problem. For some reason, I had to already be connected to the net and the site before the submission screen would pop up. Now to go see If it made it.

It's hardly obvious that you have to be connected to the net to submit the score, every other net application I've ever used will connect you if you aren't already connected when it needs to send data. This needs to be fixed, as it has bitten a lot of people and the game won't tell you what the problem is, it just won't come up as an option.

Thanks Vorlin. Every program I've run has an auto connect feature. This one didn't obviously. If you hit done on your stats before you connect the game terminates. It doesn't even ask you if you wish to connect and submit. It merely goes back to the main menu. It's only when I finished, alt-tabbed out connected, and got here that the submit function even came up. No worries though.

Although I won the game via cultural domination, I was rated as Saintly, and none of this came up in my score. Perhaps that's why it's so low compared to what it said it was on my end.

And Ives: Perhaps you should read Darwin. Survival of the fittest has nothing to do with who can figure out a counter-intuitive, counter-normm aspect of a program. Nor does "fittest" in Darwin's terms mean best, or smartest. It simply means fit for the environment or fit for a particular key purpose better. Like the Lion. He stinks at hunting and would starve if he had to. he's fit only for fighting other Cats (the key to Lion reproduction on the male side)

And furthermore, we all know being a computer geek is not the Key to human reproduction. So take Darwin's advice. Get a life and a girl before you slam son.

On your score it is showing that you used the origional version of the game, which might be why it's not showing your saintly morality. They are up to version 3 now if you want to download it through the Stardock program. You can also download the bonus pack while you are at it and get some nifty new features and game techs.

I've been meaning to do that. Wanted to get my game finished first. With none outstanding, I'll do it now. Unfortunately, my wife served her Godly purpose of tormenting me by cleaning my computer cave and moving my CD jewel box. When I find it, I'll do just that.
