Alternative Display for Cash Deals in Diplomacy?

Would it be possible to add an "X amount over Y months" display mode in addition to the "X amount for Y months"? Once I find myself past the early game cash crunch, I generally pay more attention to the full value of tribute instead of the per turn income, so a new display mode that shows the full value of tribute would be a great time saver. I'd ask for a "maximize tribute value" button if you wouldn't mind implementing that too
