No Words!

After getting the newest driver, newest update, newest everything, I finally got Political Machine to play by using a command prompt. But now, I'm not seeing any words! No text whatsoever. I can click on stuff, but I have no idea what any of it means. Now that I finally got the game to play, I'd like to get past this road block ASAP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No advice? Nothing at all? I've seen this issue touched upon elsewhere, but no one ever seems to come up with any concrete solution. Right now, this problem is all that prevents me from playing the game. Any advice really would be greatly appreciated.
