Same problem: No states visible

I'm having the same problem as Petie Krogol: Triangles instead of states.

System configuration:
Windows 2000 + SP4
Radeon 9600 SE (recent drivers)
DirectX 9.0c

Is there anything I can do about it, other than pray and wait for a patch?
I fullfill even the recommended system requirements, my graphics card is listed as supported, but the game is unplayable for me at the moment.

Sorry, established. We're looking into it. That problem seemed to be linked with WinXP, but now we need to formulate a new hypothesis
