Any way to unlock people without playing the campaign?

I wanna play some fantasy scenarios with Reagan and others, but they don't seem to be unlocked yet.

Is there any way to unlock without having to play 18 campaigns? I think I will be sick of the game if I have to play 18 regular campaigns without the added spice of the fantasy scenario things.

Also, is there any way to save your settings to a floppy or something? I am going to reinstall Windows XP with SP2 as a fresh install for best performance, and I don't wanna lose my settings (I've already played 4 campaigns as a Republican and I don't want to have to do them over).

Oh C'mon anyone have a response for this?

Also, one more thing I noticed is that after I turned the game off and back on I think the difficulty mustve self adjusted it to be higher cause now I get my clock cleaned in pretty every state but my home state by week 15. Also my opponent starts out with a political operative. What's the deal?

Hey, you have to work for something! There would be no fun part of the game if you didn't have to challenge yourself to get to Washington!
