Auto Pilot Question

Total bonehead question here that I'm too lazy to go digging through all the documentation to find the answer to...
When I have ALL of my ships on Autopilot (right clicking on a destination) then when my turn rolls around pushing the Tab button won't cycle through the ships (it just stays on one) and if I push the end turn button all my ships will just sit there and not move towards their destination. The only way around this I have found is to take that first ship (or I usually leave one ship off autopilot just for this purpose) and cancel its orders by clicking on it and then clicking on its destination again. This starts a chain reaction in which all of the ships execute their autopilot orders and actually move... But doing it every turn is really time intensive and click happy which I hate. So my question is... is there some button or hot key that I can push that will make all of my ships execute their autopilot orders?
Thanks in advance...
