Oh no!

Well this was just great timing. I forgot that I signed up for the Star Wars Galaxies beta awhile back (um.. I was still 35 at the time, now I'm 42! No.. actually, I'm 36 now LOL ). I got an acceptance letter today.

That is going to cut into my GalCiv time, and now I am peeved. >:(

If I previously had much less of a life because of this game, between this and SW:G, I'll have none at all! :p

Wasn't that game due for realese in December, oh wait, feb, actually... ah aprill. Now what is the due date. I'm confused. LOL

seriously, the game was due out quite awhile ago, I was a big fan but now am tired of the wait. Catch me up on whats going on.

You mean you aren't just going to tell them to shove their beta because you've found something infinitely cooler? Sheesh... such lack of GalCiv dedication from a fellow GGer... I wish you were in our Empire, so I could kick you out right now. ;)

I think they are planning on a May (think June) release now, which makes sense with the beta testers getting their emails now. I'm still skeptical but shall beta dilligently. I've yet to see an MMORPG that I am really pleased with. DAoC was rather fun though. This game certainly has potential, I've been following it pretty closely. We'll see what happens. PvP is a big key I think.. guess I'll soon see how the battles work, and if it is a decent alternative.

If any of you are going to beta, let me know. Could use some beta buds to mix it up with! LOL

Heh.. I know, I'm awful Ash! Actually I will submit several games to the Metaverse once I complete them. :p

I've got like.. I dunno, 8 or 9 games of GalCiv going at once. I love trying out new stuff, so I've my war game, my techs, my merchants, my good war guys, my eyyvl empire against a bunch of stupid but goodie two shoes races, etc... games all going on at once. I'll probably complete several of them in the near future. LOL

I'm signed up for beta (signed up on the first day, an eternity ago, any1 remember the day, I can't :D ) but never got a notice through 3 betas. Thats ok though, galciv is taking up all my time.

I'm pretty sure the SW:G beta was yet another I wasn't good enough for, due to my distinct lack of being an *expletive* yank. :P

I'm looking forward to Galaxies as well, so I can understand your predicament. :)

You'll still get time to play GalCiv... Like when the SW:G server is down for upgrading and such. ;)

Oh yea.. that's a good point! But that was originally allocated as my 'get food so I don't wither away and die' time. Well, I'll just order pizza's via credit card, and have them slip them through a crack in the window.. that should work! :D
