The Metaverse

When I play Galactic Civilizations, I play on a good computer, one that unfortunately isn't connected to the Internet. The Internet-computer is well, shall we say, not so good for playing Galactic Civilizations. Is there any way I could transfer my Metaverse score from one computer to the other, then to the Metaverse?

have you got a network card in both computers?? Because I have a Home Network set-up with a SLOW computer as my Internet Server Machine and my fast one connecting to the Net through that machine via the LAN.

Unfortunately, this ancient computer that I'm typing on now has no network card whatsoever. Is there some directory where the score is stored, that I can transfer to disc and sent it via this computer?

'Fraid not, Seth :( My best suggestion would be to save the game 1 turn before you beat it and load that game on your slow computer just to upload the score. Sorry there's not an easier way, but storing scores to be uploaded on another computer brings up some serious "score tampering" issues.

Seth: the save files and folders are only a handful of megs big... a few disks and a zip utility, or a CD-RW and a burner would be all you'd need to copy the save files to your 'net computer for loading, winning, and submitting. :)
