CRASH HELP (Need to know what file to send in)

Ok this will be the 5th game I have played, and it will be the 5th game that has crashed on me. When I try to restore the game it crashes. What file do I need to send you so that you can see WTF the problem is?

Please help as this is becoming rather bothersome.

Note that there is nothing in any of the windows. No planets, ships, star map, etc, just nothing.

Just incase, I have upload the save game file and the previous save game file.

Please let me know if these are the files. In the mean time I am to heart sick to keep playing this great game. I truly love how you guys have set the game up, but these crashes just take the wind out of my sales.

You guys really need to set up a forum feature that allows us to edit our posts. :notsure: I don't think those files are the ones you want. They don't have any info in them. >:(

If these files are not the right ones, PLEASE let me know. I would really like to know why the game keep crashing.

In the meantime here's a tip. Go to options and set your Autosave to save every turn. that way when the game crashes the FIRST autosave game will be corrupt, but the "Previous Autosave" will work and you'll have only lost one turn in your game. that way you can play until the bug is fixed

I would also like to know where to send our game files. I was finally winning a game and not having the Intergalactic league take over my planets via culture and I got a CTD. I go to "restore game" (the most recent autosave) and there is nothing there...red screen where the players map is (where you move your ships etc and see your planets), the strategic map (upper right) is gone as well...when I click "turn"...it pauses then CTD. :notsure:

I've had the game crash repeatedly too (and once it left the game sound running). And then I go back in to the last saved game and it produces a game with no info in it. The thing to do is to go to the save game before that (good thing it saves two).
