Why are Pure Evil Players Showing Up With Pure Good Smileys?

It seem that more and more pure evil players are showing up with pure good smileys. Can someone at Stardock tell us what is happening. Also, some people received former 3rd place medals when they move on to page 1 in the Metaverse. Oh, and some people have black shields when people with higher difficulting ratings still have red shields.


Will these be corrected. Is the Metaverse melting down due to old age? Will it exploded into a super nova?

Well, there is a problem for sure. In compiling my latest empire report on the Euros (to be posted in short order), I had to manually correct for a lot of "pure good" alignments that are in reality evil. Most of the discrepencies I was running into were happening with players who were barely straddling the line between neutral and chaotic evil, but I have read about at least one pure evil getting the pure good smilies lately. Interesting, very interesting indeed.

Thank you Pat and Cari. Things are returning to normal for most people. There is now some concern that the position in the list on the Metaverse is different the the personal position in the profile. See discussion on the Diplomatic empire

Well, I disagree with the whole anler/moose theory. If everybody is scared of the good guys then they wouldn't be seen as good anymore would they? Even if they had a nice blue smiley face, people would know that they were really evil inside. So basically, it wouldn't put the bad guys out of work, it would just mean more bad guys! :HOT: Come on everybody, there's plenty of evil to go around!
