Captial ship costs

Why are the caps all the same cost in resources???

Seems lame, I love everything esle about this game but I would like to see the hvy cruisers price reduced and perhaps the dread increased a bit.

Does this make sense or am I missing something?

Yep.

The capital ships are supposed to be roughly equivalent in strategic value, regardless of whether they're called battlecruisers or dreadnaughts. Hence, they all cost the same.
