Map Designer help?

Im having a small problem with the map editor.

The problem im having is that I cant get rid of nuetral colonies appearing in the game at all locations beside the homeplanets and the star and i can not lessen their number.

I am also having a problem with the phase lines, i am trying to lessen the distance but I cant get it to be any shorter.

Can anyone help explain what i am doing wrong?

I think in order to get barren neutral planets you have to edit the planet and uncheck "load default template" ... not totally sure, haven't tried it yet. As for phase lanes, they tend to be as long as the distance between the two object connected... move them closer together?

I am now good with the nuetral colonies but the phase lines are still so big and i cant get them any smaller.

Do you mean the Orbit radius?
It is almost fully red.

I have reconized what is mostly wrong with the map and that is that the Main planets (3 planets where each player start out) cant have there planet change or their phase line close to the planets
