This is THE essential thread today

THANK YOU DEVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For putting up with all the "where's my serial code" q's. For creating a whole new genre of gaming. For teaming with Stardock, who has become the bar for other gaming companies to pattern themselves after. On behalf of the SoaSE community...Thank You for all your ongoing hard work.

Yeah thanks for a great game, not like i'd know though since they won't let me on even though i've paid for it, scammers not developers.

Yeah Devs! Great job on a great game! Dont take the digs at stardock as digs at you, just because they would't know customer service if it slapped 'em in the face!

Can't disagree more with Tweedledum -- SD has been superb with customer service/support over the years, including GC, GC2 and all the add-ons and interations. And SD (and now SD and Ironclad) have produced great games that have taken more hours of my life away than I care to admit. :D

That would be good tbh, atleast I could see what a 1gb virus could do. Instead we have... well... nothing at all.

Come on stoned, this was supposed to be a thread dedicated to the appraisal of those who made it possible for us to play the great game Sins surely is. I am sure that they want you to have your game just as much as you do. After all, it is customer satisfaction and the support for further products they might produce what is at stake for them, while for you it is just a little wait. Besides, if you are somehow unhappy about distribution channels or procedures, I am sure there is a better place and way to make it known.

I myself am quite pleased about SD policy regarding customer support, and it is in fact one of the factors that compelled me to pre-order. Thank you guys!

I just got my serial but am unfortunately at work so no download for me at the moment, but I just wanted to say that even though I was slightly peeved at the wait for the code I had I don't think it is enough to simply label SD as having terrible customer service.

Over the years I have been in contact with SD support for various reasons and never found them anything but helpful. For instance, I recently closed down an email account forgetting that GalCiv was still tied to it, a simple email to SD fixed this within hours whereas other companies have really messed me around *cough EA cough* over changing details.
