...starting a new gigantic-galaxy conquest-only DA game (after doing decent with Altarians then getting my butt kicked in the end game by the Drath in a TA immense galaxy conquest-only game) with a kewel custom race (Super Warrior, speed, weapons, research all to the max) only to find my home world has not only a 700% manufacturing bonus tile (geesh, didn't even know there _were_ 700% bonuses) but also a 300% _and_ a 100% research bonus tile, plus to top it off not in a bad spot on the galactic map. gonna be a fun one!

My last game started with a precursor mine on my homeworld (700% manufacturing bonus). It's pretty rare to start with one of those and it was a big help. Of course, I've never had that plus two research bonus tiles. Should provide a big jump on the start. Have fun!
