WindowFX Transitions

When I have transitions selected, and I click minimize or click the taskbar button representing the active window, it minimizes along with whatever effect I chose.
but when i come to maximize/make it appear again by pressing the taskbar button, the effect is launched but it seems to magnify the contents and when the effect stops, my window is active but it is at its smallest size. ( kinda like when u drag bottom right corner to make a super small window)

what is wrong and how can i fix it?

I'm running windows xp SP2 media center. I have the latest version of everything.

D4\/ID I use WindowFX off and on. For me the best way to start using it is open it up and, believe it or not, turn off each function. Then when you have done that start with one function and see how it works, you can leave it on if you like it. Then go to the next function doing the same and so on. It's just possible that you have another function on that's effecting what you are looking at.
