In a large group, special abilities all at once?

Say I have a group of 20 kodiak cruisers selected, is there any way to have them all use the intercept ability at the same time? All I could do was select each one and click intercept. It seems that if you have a group of the same units selected and you hit their ability, it only uses it on one of the units.

So any way to do this? If not then I suggest it be added in the future.

As long as we can still choose to use only one capital ship's ability at a time. To clarify, I don't want to hit the flak ability and have my most distant capital ship also waste flak (antimatter) when it isn't even near fighters in the grav well. I think a good way to do this is to use a hotkey, such as ctrl - q or something to have all of those types of ships do that ability. This would preform the action for all of the ship type selected in the active group.

the simplest way would seem to be that when you have a number of ships with the same ability selected you can hold down say shift or alt when your clicking the ability to fire them all off rather than a purely keyboard based method which would be confusing with multiply ability's. a normal click would still activate a single
