Speed stat

I would love it if they include a statistic for speed, I think it looks nice.

And I would like it if they include a unit library with a 3D image of the unit, stats, history and general things like weight, length and stuff like that.

Does anyone else feel this should be in the finished product?

You're in space so it doesn't weigh anything (you could put mass, but that is probably too complicated).

Just because it's not in space does not mean it does not weigh anything, purely informational stuff.

It just adds a sense of realism and depth for me, how about you guys?

The ships have very little weight, weight is a measure of the pull of gravity, therefore ships in space are going to have very little weight until they get close enough to a planet for the pull of gravity to mean something. They can however, have much mass, which is a measurement of the amount of matter present in an object.

In any event, this stuff is already in the game but has been disabled in the beta.
