Spring loaded capability

Hello

Does anyone know if there is an application that can add spring loaded folders / window function to XP ?

I have used Macs and have always loved this feature.

on a sidenote:

I know you can set your mouse to open a window underneath another window without clicking when your cursor glides over, but sometimes I dont't want that to happen, so a slight pause over the window would before bringing to front would be nicer.

If this actually can be done in windows without 3rd party software - can anyone help out this windows in training fella ?

Download Stardock Central. Under Object Desktop you can download Spring Folders as part of the package. The product isn't developed anymore as far as I know. Here is the super old site (can't say if all the links work):

https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/sf.html

It is still available for download. You can give it a try through Stardock Central should the demo still be available.

You're able to create a Stardock.net account here: https://www.stardock.com/sdnet_login.asp
This will be required to log into the Stardock server through Stardock Central.

You may download Stardock Central here: http://sdc.stardock.com/sdcentral_setup.exe

Cheers

I have stardock central. I opened it and there is no spring loaded icon listed for downloading. There is also no direct download button on
https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/sf.html

It just says a component of Object Desktop.

" It is still available for download. You can give it a try through Stardock Central should the demo still be available. "

This sounds contradictory... Either it is or is not available. I'm confused.

Thanks for your attention

It's been end-of-lifed.  So support is not there.  I also believe that only people that were members when it was an active app see it in SDC.
 . . . but what do I know . . .?
