Questions about some of the changes to GalCiv II.

I bought the game about a year ago when it first came out but due to bugs and some instability problems with I think version 1.10 I just uninstall ed it and put it on the shelf until more patches were released.

I just did a reinstall with the 1.4 patch and I'm noticing alot of changes have been made. I tried looking on the site for change notes but I can't seem to find it. Anyway mainly I want to know how the enable cpu ai algorithms effects the AI and if it makes it better. Also were the bugs fixed when using custom races?

The full changelog is here.

The high CPU setting in DL mostly just lets the AI design new ships much more frequently, so it'll adapt faster and field new techs more rapidly. The effects are much more significant in Dark Avatar, where the AI will do longer-term analysis and planning when the option is on.

What exactly do you mean about the custom races?
