Started playing GalCiv II DA and love the game. Spend most of my time just making designs.

There are a few things that bug me and maybe I just don't know, that there is a feature for it. If not I really think it should be implemented in a patch.

My first problem is I have only 5 ships right now, it might be small but my problem is big. I know when a ship moves all it's movement points it goes to anthour ship or so it's suppose too. Is there a way, or can it be implemented in a patch to have a button wich goes to the next ship with movement points? Right now I click the left button on the bottom to bring up planet\ship panel. Then I have to click every ship to see if it has any movement points. Couldn't Star Dock at least put in movement points remaining in the planet\ship panel?

My second problem I have with the game is the tech screen. I don't know what the techs do. Shure they explain what you get but for an example, what is a Drone ship? I should be able to mouse over the name with an explanation or it brings us to anthour screen with an explanation. This way I either click on the tech or the ship wich should tell me what tech I need to get to get it. For an anthour example, I am starting to do research for anthour ship. All it says is I need 4 other techs but wich techs do I need? It dosn't tell me. Am I missing somthing? Am I doing something wrong?

There is no Galatic Civopedia. I had the program for Gal Civ II but can't find it anymore. I know it's not that good, could be better, but at least I can dig around to find what I need. Maybe I just don't know how to use it properly. Can someone tell me where I can download it again, and explain how to use it properly?

Just found the Galatic Civopedia in the sticky, downloading it now. My other question is where did the Star Blazer ship designs go? I saw them two weeks ago and no the link got changed to current 2007 designs, is there a link for the old ones two?

Ooops I must be in brain fart mode. Just clicked the hyperling and found the old thread, what is wrong with me today?

yes this is the program i was looking for, just wish this was incorperated into the game. The game runs so slow on my computer that I can't alt-tab out to use this program, and when I do, I forget the properly spelt name and can't find what I am looking for.

Can the Galitic Civopdeia be incorperated into the game? Make it more fun and eaiser.

Saw the "Did you know thread" says if you hit the key C it will show the next ship with movement points left. Will try it out.

If you run the game in 'windowed' mode (i.e. not fullscreen) but set the game resolution to the same as your display, then the game will essentially look the same but will be much more responsive to alt-tab. At least this used to be true on DL.

u mean right now I am not if full screen mode, and am at 800X600 to hope it helps speed up. u say i can alt tab easier now? I will try it out and see what happens
