Odd question

from Stardock Forums
Since the game is multithreaded, IE it thinks about what the AI is going to do while you are doing your work, does that mean that people with faster computers are at a disadvantage over those with slower machines? If my machine runs at 2 Ghz, and Bob's runs at 1, does that mean my AI can plot all that much more than Bob's and be able to stomp me more?

I think it just means that you're computer will finish processing the AI's moves before Bob's, which in turn means that when it's the computers turn, all it has to do is execute the plan. Bob's still might have some processing to do, so it might take a little longer for the AI to move.

That would be ironic; the slower computer having an advantage for once in a pc game. ;)
