Can't Get RabidMonkey's Ships to Work

These are RabidMonkey's ships, and I can't get them to work in my game. Extracted them all to the ships folder, started a new game, and yet none of them show up. Other people have mentioned missing XML files ... could this be it?

Any advice?

I can't either. I think it's because they're based on GC2 DL v1.00

I looked at the files and I agree with jpinard. The desings have .shipclass extensions which later versions of galciv don't use. Looking at the contents of those files I see that they are really different from .xml files, so renaming them won't be a solution.
