Deskscapes plays some dreams but not others

could this be a codec problem or...?

So I tried Sylock red and exotic plasma but they won't show a preview...interestingly enough I downloaded a few others not made by stardock and they worked!

nvm its cause my WMP won't decode mpeg-2 files. So now i need the codec...
