Game is freezing when new research is done

I've just began to play, and it freezes at the moment mentioned above. What shall I do? Please help!

did you download a warez copy? If it is, it's a very old version and we are so far adavanced from that i wouldn't even know how to help since i wouldn't be able to remember what all was missing from that version.

Thanks for replying. In fact, I really downloaded a warez rip. But I've decided to buy this game, I like it, I would like to play it in full version. Again, thanks.

i hope you do because it is totally worth it. What you have now versus what you will get is really like a different game. It's so much more complete, and i would buy it just for the bonus pack.
