Help me!

Problem with having game on multiple computers.

Hi,
I bought this brand new computer, right?
First thing I do is check the requirements for the game to see if it runs on it and it does.
(It's on my old computer too.)
It loaded fine, no problems.
But when I start it up, it shows a blac screen, AND the cursor, but then it goes straight back to the desktop.

Any ideas?

You need to go in to your programfiles/Stardock/Totalgaming/GalCiv2 Folder and open the debug.err file in notepad, then copy and paste it in a reply. That will help analyze you problem.

As dethadder posted, post your debugg.err

Dell makes alot of "new" computors that wont run this game so that really doesnt mean anything.

Make sure your graphics card drivers are the most recent, I bought a machine this past July and the drivers were from 2005.
