Sins of a Solar Empire Pre-Ordering begins

 This Winter the Sins of a Solar Empire beta will begin as it makes its way towards release next summer.

Players who pre-order the game will be able to take part in the beta and help shape the final game just as they did with Galactic Civilizations II.

Sins of a Solar Empire is a real time strategy game that could best be described as a combination of Galactic Civilizations and Homeworld with a lot of gameplay that feels (to me anyway) like Total Annihilation in space.

It's epic in scale but isn't a click fest because of intelligent unit AI and a really innovative user interface design.
