End Game

How's the end game in GalCiv compared to other games (particularly Civ2)?

Does there come a point in the game where you might say, "I win. Don't want to finish it out."?

Actually, Brad(Developer) has written a very nice, ehm Thesis almost, on this subject, which can be found here:

As one who has played this game a lot, I can say no to your question, not anywhere near like in other games, like Civ2.
I think you will find that the Galciv team are gamers like yourself, and thinks perhaps more like a gamer than a developer normally would :)
