i SOULD be buying this game today or at least some time this week, so i wanted to ask a few questions...

1. if i do the download only option then will i reseave my CD code thru email?

2. whats the metaverse like?

3. have you save houndreds of dollers by switching to geico yet?   jk!

4. how many planets do gigantic galexys have on avreage?

i hope to get this game realitevly soon and looking forward to it

The metaverse is the ultimate high score table, really. It's fun to join an empire and help that empire achieve no. 1 standing in the metaverse or u may want to be no. 1 yr self? The medals r cool and fun to collect.

4. how many planets do gigantic galexys have on avreage?


300 - 500 planets depending on star formation is the highest. Probably have 50 or less if u select rare everything.

1. If you selected that option whilst purchasing the game then the backup cd will be posted to you shortly.

2. The Metaverse helps a lot of people carry on playing this game when under normal situations you would have 'shelved it' long ago. Many of the people in these threads have been around the GC game for a long time. Myself for over three years now
The Metaverse and the 'Empires' it spawns have led to some very good fan sites. See HERE for a list of some of them. I personally own the Galactic Core and am Emperor for the Galactic Diplomats (currently 1st in the league tables)

No. There are no multiplayer options for GCII. The game does not support MP in any way. The Metaverse is there for 'fun' and the empires are just a group of characters who have banded together for various reasons and their collective individual scores make up the total of the empire score.
