I'm using an old notebook and I'm afraid soon or later it will simply stop to work, if it will happen before I have the chance to un-install the game it will be possible for me to download and install the game again to the new PC?

You can download the game through SDC onto multiple computers of your own with no problem, so no need to worry about uninstalling it from one first.
