yer skinning modern skins and classic skins is hella different, both take different talents gfx wise. as stillwater has said. i think it's very possible for a classic skinner to try a modern skin and not know what to do/how to use the new ability so it can come out crap. and same vice-versa

sure it'S difficult to skin in those limiting borders, BUT you're creating your own and always different borders in every modern skin, what makes it also different, PLUS you mustn't forget that there's no coding necessary for classic, what's the most different part on good modern skins. i dunno, but i think you also don't have to write anything for your components, what's also very difficult.
